Michelle Contarino

I am studying a Bachelor of the Arts at Griffith University, my two majors being Creative Writing and Literary Studies. My dream job is to work in publishing/editing and write content on the side. I have two cats, Missy and Percy, who I dote on as if they were my children – ha, just kidding, they are – and my favourite flavour of ice cream is Cookies & Cream. Growing up as a single child, books were my best friend. I remember as if it was just yesterday – funnily enough, I still do this, so I guess it was yesterday after all – sitting on my bed and travelling to faraway places only an imagination can dream of. Books and their wonderful stories hold a dear place in my heart, as does my passion for stringing words together. This is my first time writing for a blog – or anyone other than myself, for that matter – so it is quite exciting to be here.
