We Will Rock You by Brisbane Arts Theatre
Rock Theatre
Don’t like theatre because it’s too tame with old songs from 100 years ago and is only about people falling in love after meeting for the first time? Well, this is the show for you! We Will Rock You is a play set in the future where all forms of self-expression are gone or forbidden, but a small group of “Bohemians” are looking to change that through free thought, fashion, and (most of all) live music. What makes this play fantastic, along with the sets and other things is the music used in this is Queen’s music. The story is there to allow these songs to be performed amazingly and do justice with others seeming like a karaoke night. A great show to see for those who are fans of Queen or musical theatre.
Cost: Tickets range for $25 to $50
Dates: 8 pm till 10.30pm each Friday and Saturday from the 26th of May to the 11th of August
